I. Basic Product Information

This door handle protection film is compatible with Tesla Model 3 (all years. including Highland) and Model Y (all years. including Juniper) . designed to cover the vehicle's exterior door handles. It addresses a top pain point for Model 3/Y owners: the original door handle surfaces (especially the recessed pull area) are prone to scratches. fingerprints. and paint chipping from daily use—damage that's highly visible and hard to repair. while preserving the handles' factory gloss finish.

Crafted for invisibility and durability. the film uses high-transparency TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) with a self-healing coating. TPU is flexible (conforms to the handle's curves). waterproof. and resistant to yellowing—unlike cheap vinyl films that peel or cloud over time. The film is nearly invisible once applied. ensuring it doesn't alter the door handles' original appearance (critical for maintaining Tesla's minimalist design).

II. Core Product Advantages

1. Model 3/Y-Specific Precise Fit: No Bubbles. No Overhang

Unlike generic protection films that misalign or leave gaps. this set uses 1:1 3D scanning data of Model 3/Y's door handles. ensuring a tailored fit:

Contour Matching : Each film follows the exact shape of the door handle—including the recessed pull area. edges. and curves—covering the entire high-wear surface with no unprotected spots.
Edge-to-Edge Coverage : The film is cut to match the handle's dimensions precisely. avoiding overhangs that peel off or gaps where scratches could occur (e.g.. the area where fingers grip the handle).
No Handle Function Interference : The thin (≤0.15mm) film doesn't add bulk. so the door handles'electronic pop-out/pop-in function (for Model 3/Y) works normally—no sticking or delayed response.

2. Self-Healing TPU: Scratch Resistance + Longevity

The TPU material with self-healing technology solves the shortcomings of rigid plastic protectors or low-quality vinyl:

Scratch Self-Repair : Minor scratches (e.g.. from rings. keys. or 指甲) disappear on their own within 24–48 hours (heat from sunlight or a warm cloth accelerates the process). keeping the handle looking new.
Anti-Yellowing & UV Resistance : The film's coating blocks UV rays. preventing yellowing or discoloration—even after 2+ years of outdoor exposure (unlike vinyl films that fade in sunlight).
Waterproof & Stain-Resistant : Repels rain. road salt. and fingerprints—fingerprints wipe off easily with a dry cloth. and the film won't peel or degrade in wet conditions.

3. Invisible Protection: Preserves Factory Aesthetic

A key advantage over bulky handle covers is the film's no-show design:

99% Transparency : The high-transparency TPU is nearly undetectable once applied. preserving the door handles'original gloss finish (whether your Tesla has black. chrome. or color-matched handles).
No Aftermarket Look : Unlike plastic covers that add texture or color. the film blends seamlessly with the handle—passersby won't notice it's there. but it still blocks damage.

4. 10-Minute DIY Installation: No Professional Help Needed

The electrostatic adsorption design and included tools make installation beginner-friendly:

Clean the Handle : Wipe the door handle with an alcohol pad to remove dust. oil. or fingerprints—ensure the surface is completely dry.
Peel & Align : Remove the film's protective backing. then align the film with the handle (use the handle's edges or recessed area as a guide).
Squeegee Out Bubbles : Use the included squeegee to press the film firmly from the center outward. pushing out any air bubbles—no adhesive residue if you need to reposition it.

III. Key Notes (Critical Compatibility & Care)

Model Exclusivity : Only fits Tesla Model 3 (all years) and Model Y (all years) . It will not fit Model S/X (different door handle designs) or non-Tesla vehicles—confirm your vehicle model before purchasing.
Installation Tip : For curved areas of the handle. gently stretch the film (TPU is flexible) to avoid creases. If bubbles remain after installation. prick them with a small pin and squeegee out the air.
Replacement Cycle : The film lasts 2–3 years with normal use. Replace it if you notice significant yellowing. peeling. or deep scratches that won't self-heal.
